Welcome

By registering for, attending, participating in, or submitting payment toward any retreat, event, immersion, gathering, or in-person experience hosted by Home for the Healer (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Retreat Terms & Participation Agreement.

These terms apply to all retreats and in-person experiences unless otherwise stated in writing for a specific event.


Retreat Nature + Participation

Home for the Healer retreats are spiritual, educational, experiential, and personal development-based experiences.

Activities may include, but are not limited to:

  • group discussions
  • meditation
  • energy work
  • embodiment practices
  • movement
  • journaling
  • spiritual teachings
  • emotional processing
  • outdoor experiences
  • wellness-based activities
  • community experiences

Participation is voluntary at all times.


Participant Responsibility

You acknowledge that you are voluntarily participating and remain fully responsible for your own:

  • physical wellbeing
  • emotional wellbeing
  • mental wellbeing
  • personal belongings
  • travel arrangements
  • medical needs
  • personal decisions and actions

You understand that spiritual, emotional, and transformational work may feel emotionally activating, intense, reflective, or personally impactful.

You are responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for you.


Medical + Wellness Disclaimer

Home for the Healer and its representatives are not acting as medical doctors, therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, licensed healthcare providers, or emergency personnel.

Nothing offered during retreats is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

If you have medical, psychological, physical, emotional, dietary, or accessibility concerns, you are responsible for consulting appropriate licensed professionals before attending.


Assumption of Risk

You understand and voluntarily accept the normal risks associated with retreat participation, including but not limited to:

  • travel delays or interruptions
  • altitude changes
  • weather conditions
  • outdoor environments
  • physical movement
  • emotional discomfort
  • shared accommodations
  • food sensitivities
  • transportation risks
  • interactions with other participants
  • unfamiliar environments

Participation is entirely voluntary and at your own discretion and risk.


Venue + Accommodations

Retreats may take place at private rental properties, retreat venues, vacation homes, or Airbnb-style accommodations.

Room arrangements, amenities, shared spaces, and lodging details vary by retreat and are outlined on applicable retreat sales pages or informational materials.

We are not responsible for circumstances caused by venue owners, property conditions outside reasonable control, or third-party vendors.


Travel Responsibility

Participants are solely responsible for:

  • airfare
  • transportation
  • passports/identification
  • travel insurance
  • medical insurance
  • arrival timing
  • missed flights or delays
  • personal travel arrangements

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for retreat investments.


Payments + Deposits

Retreat payment plans, deposits, cancellation terms, and due dates may vary depending on the specific retreat.

The payment terms stated on the applicable retreat sales page, invoice, or registration agreement govern that retreat.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • deposits may be non-refundable
  • late payments may result in loss of reservation
  • access may be revoked for incomplete payment

Cancellation + Transfers

Cancellation policies vary by retreat and are communicated individually for each event.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

  • payments may be non-refundable
  • transfers are not guaranteed
  • unused reservations may be forfeited

We reserve the right to determine transfer eligibility case-by-case.


Conduct + Community Expectations

To preserve a safe and respectful environment, participants agree to conduct themselves respectfully toward facilitators, staff, venues, and fellow attendees.

The following may result in removal without refund:

  • harassment
  • threats
  • abusive behavior
  • intoxication that disrupts the experience
  • illegal conduct
  • discrimination or hate speech
  • unsafe or disruptive behavior
  • violation of venue rules
  • sharing confidential participant information without consent

Confidentiality + Group Experiences

Participants may encounter personal sharing, emotional processing, or sensitive discussions within retreat spaces.

We ask all participants to respect the privacy and confidentiality of others.

While we encourage confidentiality, we cannot guarantee the actions of third parties or other participants.


Media Release

Retreats may include photography, video, testimonials, or shared content for educational or promotional purposes.

By attending, you grant permission for reasonable use of photographs, recordings, or media that may include your likeness unless you notify us in writing before the retreat begins.

We will make reasonable efforts to honor privacy requests where possible.


Technology + Force Majeure

Home for the Healer is not liable for delays, interruptions, cancellations, modifications, or inability to perform caused by circumstances outside reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • severe weather
  • wildfire
  • natural disasters
  • venue issues
  • illness
  • emergencies
  • travel disruptions
  • internet outages
  • government actions
  • public health events

We reserve the right to reasonably modify retreat logistics, schedules, facilitators, or accommodations when necessary.


Right to Refuse or Remove Participation

We reserve the right to decline, remove, or discontinue participation at our discretion for safety, misconduct, nonpayment, policy violations, or circumstances that may negatively impact the retreat environment.

Where appropriate, remedies may be determined case-by-case.


No Guarantees

Home for the Healer does not guarantee any specific:

  • healing outcome
  • spiritual experience
  • emotional transformation
  • relationship outcome
  • business outcome
  • personal breakthrough

Each participant’s experience is unique.


Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Home for the Healer shall not be liable for any injuries, losses, damages, emotional distress, travel interruptions, property damage, personal decisions, or other claims arising from retreat participation.

Participation is voluntary and at your own discretion and risk.


Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Home for the Healer from claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from your conduct, negligence, misuse of retreat spaces, violation of these terms, or unlawful actions.


Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.


Severability

If any portion of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.


Agreement

By registering for or participating in a retreat hosted by Home for the Healer, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Retreat Terms & Participation Agreement.
